PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS 

The Dalhousie Integrated Science Program (DISP) is an alternative way for science students to complete their first year of studies at Dalhousie. DISP serves as a gateway to all degree programs in science and provides students with a broad base in science. Students are encouraged to cross traditional disciplinary boundaries to answer questions and to think critically. Many class activities are performed in teams of 3-5 students, an effective way to learn the real-world skill of team work. Day-long field trips to locations surrounding Halifax provide students with hands-on opportunities to complement their classes in Earth Sciences, Biology and Physics.
