The Dalhousie Integrated Science Program (DISP) is an alternative way for serious students to complete their first year of an undergraduate degree in science. This unique and challenging program focuses on the application of concepts and skills across a wide range of scientific disciplines. DISP students develop a strong suite of transferable skills fundamental to science and related professions, such as making careful observations and thinking critically, solving problems quantitatively and qualitatively, working effectively in teams, finding and evaluating information, communicating orally and formal writing, using various computer technologies and planning and conducting research projects.
